, ATBC provides assistive technology and related support services to adult residents of British Columbia who have permanent disabilities.
ATBC responds to requests for assistive technology under several different programs:

The CSGP-SEPD is a grant that is available for eligible students with permanent disabilities in post-secondary courses who qualify for financial assistance through Student Aid BC and require assistive technology to minimize disability related barriers. Eligible students may use this grant to pay for assistive technology.

This program enables post-secondary institutions to access assistive technology to service students with disabilities.

This program is intended for persons with disabilities in employment or who are training for employment who require assistive technology to eliminate disability related barriers. Participants in this program can borrow assistive equipment and software from our Provincial Loan Bank.

This program is intended for employed persons with disabilities who already have and use assistive technology on the job, who require training on the use of their assistive technology to complete job-related tasks.
